Will Graham is a fictional character and the protagonist of Thomas Harris' Red Dragon novel, the first of the Hannibal Lecter novels, and the Hannibal TV Series.

Will is a FBI profiler who is intellectually gifted, skilled in criminology, and possessing extraordinary empathy that allows him understand the criminals he hunts but the gift also disturbs him since he fears if he empathize too much with serial killers, he might become a killer himself. In Red Dragon, Will becomes famous after capturing the serial killer cannibal Hannibal Lecter after almost being killed himself. However, the trauma and unwanted attention cause Will to retire from the FBI to live with his wife Molly and stepson (in some adaptations, his biological son with Molly) in Florida . Years later, Will is called out of retirement from the FBI in order to help find the serial killer known as the Tooth Fairy and must interact with Hannibal for help.

Will has been portrayed by William Petersen in Manhunter, the first Hannibal movie, Edward Norton in Red Dragon, a remake of the first movie and prequel to The Silence of The Lambs, and recently by Hugh Dancy in the Hannibal TV series.
