card spring
Skillful manipulation of transferring playing cards from one hand to the other by slightly curving each card and releasing it into the air to be caught by the receiving hand. Often mistaken for shuffling cards when in fact, cards involved in card springs tend to maintain their order during the transfer and are not being randomized like in actual shuffling.
