judge dredd (movie)
A 1995 sci-fi movie based on the long running 2000 AD comic Judge Dredd, starring Sylvester Stallone as Dredd.
While the movie was praised for its set production and costumes, it was a commercial failure and poorly received by critics and consumers, with comic book fans criticizing changes made for the movie, particularly Judge Dredd being seen without his helmet when in the comics he never removes his helmet.
A reboot movie, Dredd, starring Karl Urban, was released in 2012 and was praised for having a better story and being more accurate to the comics.
