An official alternate costume worn by Knuckles the Echidna in SEGA's official Sonic Channel calendar illustration for November 2023, part of the "Otherworld Comedy" (異世界大喜利 / Isekai Ohgiri) series. In this scenario, Knuckles is styled as the reigning champion/"Fighting King" (格闘王), complete with a flashy showman-like outfit and a championship belt. It would later make its video game debut in Sonic Rumble.
