mateba 2006m

A double-action/single-action revolver developed in 1985 and produced in 1990 by Italian manufacturer Mateba.

Not to be confused with the Mateba Model 6 Unica, which is semi-automatic, has an open housing at the top (in contrast to the 2006m’s close topped housing), and has a low-barrel with a more octagonal shape.

There are separate tags for the variants used by Togusa; in Ghost In The Shell and Ghost in The Shell 2: Man Machine Interface, there is the Mateba M-M2007 (which is based solely on the 2006M), and in Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex, the Mateba 2008M (which is a design hybrid of the Mateba Model 6 and 2006M).
