Metro 2033 is a post apocalyptic novel written by Dmitry Glukhovsky. It takes place in the year 2033, 20 years after fire rained down from the heavens and forced the citizens of Moscow underground. It follows Artyom, a dweller of VDNKh who leaves his station in hopes to get Polis. A man named Hunter gave him the mission in case Hunter failed. It is explained that if Artyom can get to Polis then he can find people to help his station combat the Dark Ones. They’re a new threat to the Metro, and could wipe humans off the Earth if not stopped.

Metro 2033 was originally a Russian novel, so there are a few grammar and spelling mistakes.
