The twenty-sixth series in Hasbro's Power Rangers franchise, largely adapting stock mecha footage from Uchuu Sentai Kyuuranger, while building off elements from Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger as a direct follow-up to Power Rangers Dino Fury.

In a move unseen since the Saban Era during Mighty Morphin, Ranger suits, some villains, and on-ground fights would all be entirely original, and all filmed in New Zealand with no carryover to boot, as well as being made into a shorter mini-series like Alien Rangers - to mixed results. Particularly, the Ranger suits, which would largely be original save for the adapted Ryusoulger helmets, saw greater online ridicule from the wider tokusatsu community, including from Japan.
