sex reassignment surgery
Sex reassignment surgery (SRS), gender reassignment surgery or bottom surgery are genital surgical procedures performed on transsexuals so that their psychological sex aligns with their physical sex, improving quality of life from genital dysphoria apart of their transition. The genital surgical procedures performed on transsexuals in modern day were originally invented for cissexuals who had issues with their genitals such as trauma, cancer or a medical condition that would then be further developed and pioneered by transsexuals with the exceptions of metoidioplasty.
A vast majority of Asian countries require SRS in order to legally change one's sex on documents.
