shank's mother

A (tragic) character from the backstory of the manga and anime One Piece.
She was romantic partner or at least bedfellow of Figarland Garling and the mother of Shanks and Figarland Shamrock, but her maternal joy didn't last long, because said bedfellow came back a year after the birth of her children and killed her on sight (a certain young Marine by the name of Monkey D. Dragon was able to save both children, one of which would grow up among the Celestial Dragons, while the other, Shanks, would grow up on the pirate ship of Gol D. Roger).
