The final boss of Sonic The Hedgehog (2006). It is described as a super-dimensional being and worshipped by the people of Soleanna as a Sun god. On the boss fight's first phase, it resembles an eagle-like figure with a large white halo on its back. For the second phase, it displays two large wings and a red core.
Originally a small white flame, it was tampered with by the Duke of Soleanna ten years before the game's events. This incident causes Solaris to separate in two individual beings, Iblis and Mephiles. Once they become one again, the deity's body is fought by Super Sonic, Super Shadow, and Super Silver. After the battle, Princess Elise blew out Solaris' true form, erasing it from existance.
