The staff wielded by Artoria Caster, symbolizing her as the Fairy of Prophecy for the land of Faerie Britain. It bears a great resemblance to Merlin's staff, and serves as a parallel to the Sword of Selection.
In her third ascension, she trades out the staff for Marmyadose as her primary weapon in battle.
Aesc originally had a similar Spear of Selection, but it became corrupted after she lost faith in the fairies of Britain and she sealed it away. The various staffs she's seen with are instead ordinary staffs. This spear would later be gifted to Percival, whereupon it transformed into a Longinus look-alike.
