yaoi

Any romantic or sexual interaction between males, whether mutual or one-sided. If it's mutual, consider also adding the couple tag.

A common misconception is that in Japan, "BL" denotes non-explicit content while "yaoi" denotes explicit content. In reality, "BL" encompasses both, and "yaoi" is a term used almost exclusively outside Japan. On Danbooru, "yaoi" is used for both SFW and NSFW content; use yaoi is:nsfw or yaoi is:sfw to distinguish between them.

For physical objects depicting yaoi, use yaoi (object) in combination with fujoshi, fudanshi, and/or otaku instead.

For Danbooru purposes, cuntboy is not yaoi. Use cuntboy with male or cuntboy with cuntboy instead.

For Danbooru purposes, bisexual male activity is also not yaoi. Use bisexual male instead.
