A mecha from the Macross series.

The YF-29 Durandal is an advanced prototype of the VF-25 Messiah variable fighter that appears in the Macross Frontier: Sayonara No Tsubasa animated movie from 2011.

Features include canards and forward-swept wings with built-in extra boosters. Only one exists and is in use by the S.M.S. company.

In real life it was designed by Kawamori Shouji.
