zuihou (kancolle)
瑞鳳 ("Auspicious Phoenix")
Zuihou is the second ship of the Shouhou-class light aircraft carriers in Kantai Collection.
Character design by Konishi (koconatu).
Appearance
She wears a white kimono top with sleeves visibly attached over a red one. On the sleeves' brim is lattice trimming. She wears red pleated shorts for a bottom. Like most of the many archer carriers, she wears a muneate over all of this.
She has long, grey hair with a high ponytail. She wears a red and white-striped hachimaki that also secures her hair. She wields a bow patterned like her hachimaki and her arrows have planes attached to them.
Similarly to Zuikaku, her clothes changes color after remodeling. Her clothes changed to green and her muneate gains a geometric camouflage pattern. Furthermore, is the addition of the characters "づほ" ("Dzuho") on her shorts.
She has seasonal CG for New Years 2016 where she wears a red kimono with a floral print as well as holding a hamaya. The only difference between the unremodeled and remodeled versions is whether of not she has camouflage on the gear on her back.
For a collaboration with Lawson in February 2018, she was the one designated to wear the employee's uniform, her headband being recolored to white and blue as well as wearing a skirt and shoes that are proper for the occasion.
Zuihou Kai Ni
She obtained her second remodels with the February 21 2018 update with Kai2 and Kai2B forms. Clothing-wise, she changed little, a lattice-patterned strap connected to both sleeves being the only real noticable change. Gear wise, she gained a flight deck apron (complete with a "Dzuho" imprint), her "mysterious" back gear has been rebuilt as less mysterious armoring with AA guns attached and her quiver as her flight deck. She now wields a full sized yumi. Similarly to Zuikaku's own second remodels, Kai2 is distinguished as keeping her camouflage color scheme (her muneate gained some landing guidance stripes in the process) and Kai2B with her original red-white color scheme. Stats-wise, Kai2 is a huge straight upgrade complete with medium range while Kai2B is a more expansive remodel that sacrifices plane slots and evasion for a larger upgrade (including the highest max AA amongst Light Carriers), ASW capabilities (weaker than Taiyou) and Long range. Both remodels are available at level 80.
Personality
She has a flat chest. However, she doens't have the same amount of breast envy as Ryuujou. If she does cooking, it will usually be tamagoyaki. Sometimes nicknamed "Dzuho", like the characters on her shorts (which were actually on her flight deck, see "Chito" and "Chiyo").
