It's a play on one of her physical artes, in which she shoots out a cat's paw from her book. "Descartes", if I remember correctly.
Man, I loved playing as Rita. Too bad I only got the "beta" version. And they have no plans to release a localized version, not even for the PS3, damn ):
And I will Final Gale the next person who dares to even think of mentioning beta version meme. Shit got old real fast. While Namco didn't help things with their business decisions, the English Tales fandom has become a complete failure ever since this incident and there's no hope of recovery even if it were to be released.
Why must everything I like be ruined by lame ass fads, hypocritical fantards with their armchair financial analysis and Executive Meddling?

You can't deny that the american gamers are being given incomplete games by Namco. And I think it's a deliberate choice by their upper management. Why else dummy out so much incomplete data?

I don't know how much was added, myself, but the 360 version was rather... mediocre in plot.
Two playable characters, new plot events, new side quests, new bosses, new equipment, new key items, new artes, new Mystic Artes, new skills, new costumes, new enemies, english and japanese voice acting, all lines are voiced, new NPCs that tie into the movie that will never be released over here, Sword Dancer, overlimit can reach Lv 8... They practically fused two games together, with all the new content. Tales of Vesperia Complete is that much more compared to the 360n version.
