Wow I think this is the first picture I've seen were the madohomu child does not have pink hair, which I like, for some reason I think black hair would be a dominant gene not rececive.
Did anyone else notice that Madoka's necklace is purple (the color of Homura's soulgem) and Homura's is pink (the color of Madoka's)? It's like they swapped gems, either literally or symbolically.
A small but heartwarming detail. What better sign of commitment than they share their souls with each other?
Oh wow. I just noticed that the kid's hair tie has pink and purple globes. (Though in that case it supports the idea that Homura and Madoka's necklaces are symbolic representations rather than literally being each other's soul gems.)

It's actually a combination. The kid's hair is black but it has a pink tint to it. Much like the Sayaka-Kyouko kid in another of this artist's pictures. (both are super adorable)
