Doubtful. Nanoha rocks harder than anything released in the past decade (TTGL aside) and 7Arcs is raking in piles of money from StrikerS. I don't see how they can really mess up a retelling of a series they made on a tight budget, unless it goes the way of the Shakugan no Shana movie, which is also doubtful from what's been revealed so far.
Time will tell whether the movie lives up to the series, but I for one have high hopes for it.

And then there are those who fell in love with it because we used to be die-hard Magical Girl fans before we grew up.

And more plot and more lolis, not that it's hard to have more plot than DBZ or anything.
Sailor Moon for grownups sums it up pretty nicely, I think. That or Sailor Moon meets Negima and/or Gundam.

S1 had the mahou shoujo feel to it, which is good for some of us and not so good for people who aren't into magical girls. A's felt a bit like Tite Kubo was sitting in the wings. Bardiche's Zamber form made me go "Bankai!"
