Nothing so grand as all that. The writing uses old Norse runes, and each of the three circles in the picture have identical writing. The foremost line is written as a mirror image, and the other two can be read normally. Ring one is: H-Th-K-U-R-E-I-M-Th-R-S-Th-K-I-R-I-S-Th-M-E-Z-U-K-Th-R-I-Z-Th-K-U etc.

Looks like nonsense, but when you replace Th with A, Z with Y, J/Y with G, and W/V with P, ring one reads out (Reimu) Hakurei Marisa Kirisame Yukari Yakumo Arisu Magatoro(id), the protagonists of SA. Similarly, line 2 reads (K)urodani Par(us)i M(isu)hasi Yuugi Hosig(u)ma Satori Komei(ji), etc.

Hooray for hidden meanings. Sure beats a random string of letters.
