Actually, the only thing that changed was Futo's height.
In TD she was defined by her speech pattern, which gave her a more dignified air.
By making her so short in HM, she instead seems like a kid trying really hard to act like an adult.
People just have a hard time taking her seriously now because of how tiny she is.

HM did somehow focus more on Futo's moe factor, she still the same clueless hermit moe as she was in TD.

And about Miko, that cape makes her dominant, the title 'crowned prince' in now suited for her. I remember when she was first introduced, everyone thought that she was a boy.

I really love Harukawa's new design for Miko in ULiL, and it had me coming back to this picture. I feel as if she successfully combined the top and bottom Miko and Futo. Especially Miko; and she looks amazing.
