Many complained that she looks like a young Bismarck, but considering the artist its reasonable (but seriously, does she really looks like Bismarck?) And some are actually disappointed that she is wearing a skirt ^_^;
EDIT: Oh and for some reason the first thing some people noticed about her damaged art is her white panties...

She's very much an Imouto Type versus Bismarck's Onee-san Type. They don't look "the same", merely related.
I've heard some that this is Sakura Chiyo's VA and I've heard her lines myself and I'm somewhat sure that she's voicing her. Need some confirmation though.
If that's the case I want to see fanart of an Admiral Nozaki and Sakura Chiyo cosplaying as Eugen-chan.
Admiral Hipper-class Heavy Cruiser, to be specific.
Performed Sea Trials under escort by Bismark, when they encountered HMS Prince Of Wales and the ageing Battlecruiser HMS Hood... And we know how that ended, do we not? **British.**

Aye. There are some images of Bismark which were taken from a crew of Prinz Eugen

With Bismark holed by PoW; leaking fuel and down in speed forcing her to abandon her mission to try and return to port and ultimately ending in her death?

And pursued by Outdated Biplanes that managed to get a lucky torpedo onto her rudder, delaying, slowing, and ultimately course-preventing Bissie from reaching safe haven, while Churchill gave his most famous order to the Home Fleet; "Sink The Bismark".
To her credit (I still view German ships as female even though they viewed them as male), it's a testament to how much of a threat Britain saw her and Tirpitz as, that we devoted thalf the entire Home Fleet to Bismark and so much air-power to Tirpitz to sink them.

The thing is it wasn't like that fleet had anything else to be doing though. That's kind of the rub the idea of "diverting resources" it sort of implies the idea those resources are being diverted from some other critical operation. If Bismark doesn't sail though the Home Fleet just kind of sits around on it's ass twiddling it's thumbs, so it's not like her death ride accomplished anything useful. Quite the opposite really, her destruction during the operation removed any serious capital ship threat and actually allowed the diversion of resources elsewhere, which was important in fact because there had been set backs in the Mediterranean around the same time.
Tirpitz was marginally more useful, but the air attacks weren't actually much a drain; actually they were honestly too few, too poorly supported, and too small. They were certainly a better use of the bombers then burning cites was, since it was a genuine and important military target, but Harris was a moron so he kept sending thousands of bombers into the teeth of night fighters and radar directed flak to murder German civilians and accomplish nothing but igniting debates as to whether he was a war criminal for decades to come. If one of those big "thousand plane" raids is on Tirpitz, her surrounding support ships, and facilities instead of the residential core of some city... what then?
We'll never really know because "Bonehead" Harris was in charge and he had woman and children to kill god damn it. How could be be expected to spare resources to seriously attack a 50,000 ton warship tying down a fleet of allied ships?
Speaking of more German ships getting in Kancolle, Humikane posted this on his twitter. Looks like there might be a light cruiser added some time. I personally want to see Nürnberg-chan.
