Toshino Kyoko would like to tell you about the wonder of rum raisin. (Yes it has actual rum in it.)
I'm pretty sure Rum raisin does not have any kind of alcohol in, or at the very least it's been clean out. It has the taste of Rum, from what I see, but there is absolutely no alcohol in it whatsoever since, the ice cream is suppose to be sold for everyone.
We're not talking about a 4loko here. If there was alcohol or actual Rum in rum raisin then Hagen Dais would be in pretty deep shit.

Swensen's Rum Raisin (and other run raisin flavored ice cream) only tastes and smells like Rum Raisin because there's only a trace of rum in the actual product - too low to be counted as an alcoholic beverage or food. Kinda like how wine-basted turkey isn't considered alcoholic.
Note: You can get drunk on rum raisin cake, though you'd need to be either really weak to alcohol, or eat a whole lot of it.

True. You can't get a buzz from rum raisin ice cream. My point was more that it tastes exactly like rum because there's rum in it, and that alcohol and ice cream are a great match.
it's called "tartufo", an italian icecream made by a caffè icecream surrounded by vanille icecream and chocolate dust. Usually you eat it inside a cup and is covered in liquor, baileys or Unicum.
