She looks a bit different than usual. It seems drew is moving away from his original way of drawing and now just seem to be....well...using his recent Akebono faces.
I hope that won't be a thing. Akebono is Akebono, but if all his character just start to look like her it'll just be....well, shitty.
I like how he's evolving but I would hate for it if he just end up like Shibafu or the other artist who just draw all the same goddamn faces.

I actually don't see too much samefacing. I think he is just favoring lighter outlines and a more prominent nose. Which I guess the nose could be said to be a characteristic of stuck-up Akebono, but I think it is okay.

It's the eyebrow and the sharpness of the eyelashes. While his recent drawings of eyes are changing if you look at Ushio's and Oboro's their's are much rounder while Akebono is sharp. He seem to be doing that with Sazanami and the two are starting to look similar to each other.
Well, I mean it's not really bad. Drew's artstyle is changing quite drastically and in someway it just threw me a bit off how different Sazanami looked. I don't know, maybe it's just me and I'm just being to nitpicky. I'll trust Drew to keep evolving better and better.
At least he won't go fullblown Shibafu....hopefully.
