From most other characters, I would suspect a trick, but gomA's Asashio is played "loyal like a dog" to an almost literal level.
... Not that I'd tell her, either way. Abusing Asashio's innocence for one's own benefit makes one lower than dirt, and besides, Kasumi's right, it defeats the point of the game.
