It is amazing that just as I have come to realise that to fully actualize her own future America should jettison European culture, Shakespeare, Mozart, Tolstoy and all the painters etc., the East has successfully embraced it, the civilisation of it's child from 1500 AD on, and carried it forward into a synthesis.
