Without all this spirit nonsense Japan could have not gotten their asses kicked in WWII
I.... don't really think so. US Industrial capability is really on their own class afterall. and Naval battle is decided by those who are better supplied. that's why Admiral Yamamoto really against turning US into enemies.
to top it off, as far as I remember, Midway battle have nothing to do with Japs spirit. and that's Pacific turning point. yes, more survived experienced pilot will be able to train newbie pilot and give US eve more trouble, but it's not like Japan production capability come close to US. so those trained pilot most likely won't get their own fighters. which in turn make training somewhat useless.
What's the deal with that piece of cloth on your head?Ohh... This is called "hachimaki".When you put this on, you can feel like...More people are putting them on now...it braces or psyches yourself up, you see.I see. So it's fine as long as you're spirited up...Yes! Spirit is everything! This is an important operation, you know?Use your head, your head! She got mad.The Japanese's spirits! To solve everything with spirit alone—such a bad habit of you Japanese!
