B4 trans: one does not simply attempt to fight back at the very nurse that you tried to spar with that resulted in injury confinement to bed... especially if said nurse is still pretty much has elements of Re inside her Also lmao Reiji's position
Well pretty much Hayase is angry at Nagato and Tenryuu that they are using/abusing the clinic for other purpose than recovery of injuries. So she just tortures those two

Arguably she remained part of it even while under Abyssal influence, considering her utter lack of target discrimination and how even other abyssals gunned hard for her.
Now that we're back on track, I need to mention that you should all go read Volume 17 released in February. The pages following post #3002068 contains a BLOODY revelation. (Or you can try guessing what it is from the said post)
Reminder: Hayase was one of Reiji's band of crazies BEFORE the Re transformation.
Exactly. Medic or no, she wouldn't have remained a member of Reiji's squad if she couldn't keep up. Adding Re's strength to her just gave an already monstrous killing machine even more tools to work with.

That's in Japanese, you know. The whole reason I, and I suspect many of the rest of us, come here for this series is because we need the translations.
I'd probably buy the collected Fleet Journal if it was in English.
I have already given up waiting for an English release at this point and am now holding out for the tiniest of possibilities for a Chinese-translated release (simplified or traditional CN doesn't matter).
Simply because it's that much easier to translate Japanese to Chinese. And English localizations tend to lose much of the original context which can still be mostly preserved in a CN translation.

Are they?
She was the one who put them there in the first place. I don't see how they are abusing the infirmary when they are using it for its intended purpose (i.e.: to recover from her beatdown).

More accurately, she's annoyed at them because they keep deliberately putting themselves in situations which land them in the infirmary in their pursuit of power.
Come to think of it... do medics take an oath to "do no harm"?
"Do no harm" refers to not physically injuring their patients at the very least any more than they are healing (after all, surgery involves cutting someone open, which is absolutely "harm", but can do more good than harm), not to avoiding causing pain. Especially before the last couple decades when they started actually caring about the pain of the patient, doctors caused LOTS of pain without worrying about it at all.
All Hayase has to do to ensure tons of agony is give them less anesthetic than she might otherwise do. Anesthetic is a risky proposition, however, and absolutely can do harm (and risks killing the patient if overapplied, which is total guesswork, which is why it is normally handled by an anesthetist whose SOLE JOB is handling anesthesia), which was why doctors historically told patients to just bite a bullet and suck it up rather than apply too much of it.
(Furthermore, the Opioid Crisis is basically a direct result of overuse of prescription painkillers brought about by pushing doctors to shove out more pills, which can absolutely be said to have been harm.)
In a world where almost everything is trying to kill you, those you should fear are the few that aren't
...gh!?W, what was that scream just now...
It came from the infirmary!?Rest in pieces....Yeah, rest in peace. It hurts so much that even the Captain whose pain sensors are half paralyzed screamed in agony...So use this opportunity to reflect on your actions, alright? They must have pissed off the Medic.
