    Joe : First episode of AL already came out.
    Joe : I've watched it, and WTF? is going on in there. LOL

    Me : WOw~ interesting~ *thinking - betta watch it before my overnight shift.

    Me : *watching - Starting to Ending-
    Me : WTF!!??

    p/s: that ending song scene~ JAYSUS CHRIST. im expecting a lot of memes from this anime hahahaha. This series got too much FREEDOM power.

    I will say this if nothing else... at least it's not boringly predictable like a certain other boatgal anime. Also to be fair a literal fucking magic tree is the canon reason all the Japs have animal ears and Nagato already had a pet fox the size of a sedan in one of her skins, so this isn't entirely out of nowhere.

    I actually find the initial plot structure generic enough to be predictable. It's just the battle sequences that threw me off guard. The dialogues felt really generic too, only topped by mouthful exposition dumps from some of the characters (Cleveland and Akagi). I guess they just wanted to get as many things out of the way as possible so they could start on the real, better stuffs in the following episodes? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    But seriously, calling it better than KC anime is not actually a compliment. It's an absolutely lowest bar to surpass.

    Lol, I saw a tweet once by the animator in charge of that scene that even he did not know wtf the writers were huffing at the time.
