I think it's appropriate. Given the bookmark, the book likely belongs to the time traveller of the group.

I mean, Kiara and Calli are immortals, Gura is over 9000 years old, Watson is a time traveller, and Ina refused to reveal her age, so it isn't that odd that some of them would have some old stuff.
With Watson around, some of the old stuff may actually be brand new.
