It was already shown that Red is actually an adult, the same can be assumed for Cuora. They're only shown in this manner when around the old man. Also he's seen as a parental figure to them, don't assume gross things when there's nothing there.

I thought Cuora would turtle sleeping with Assassin Doc although Red is d'awwwww.

I am really hoping that this ultimately ends with Gramps, Kal'tsit, Cuora and Red all snuggled up sleeping together in the same bed.
