Kson would just be another talentless T&A streamer if it hadn't been for that huge audience she picked up at her old job. It's a shame, because she was legitimately funny, talented, cute, and humble at her old job, but was never honest with her fans about the fact that she never wanted the job in the first place until just before she was about to leave.
I don't WANT to hate Kson, but I can't see her as anything other than a lazy hack who phoned it in and strung along her audience.
I mean, an entertainer job is to entertain. People were entertained and also are right now. So, what gives. The most important part of this gig are the people, both her and the fans. She seems to be in a happier piece of mind right now and people are still happy to watch her, if you think about it, there are only positives.

You imply she's talentless and in the next sentence call her talented. That doesn't even make sense. The person inside hasn't changed. The brand doesn't magically infuse talent into someone and then take it away when they leave.
The benefit of being with a well-known brand was having a larger outreach of and visibility to potential fans, which she then kept with her own ability. If it was just a brand thing, then she wouldn't still be popular and respected. But she is.
I don't even get your point about "honesty" or "phoned it in". She pushed and expanded boundaries as much as she could, and when she saw the limits, she left those boundaries. What kind of "honesty" were you expecting? Staying in the brand and "honestly" publicly bitching about it constantly? Never having taken the job in the first place?

She had a pretty large following before that "old job", and brought it with her, expanded it, and then carried it back with her. I don't even understand how a bigger audience would somehow infuse a talentless person with talent and charm, how does that even work? She wouldn't have gotten that job at all if she didn't have the charm and talent for it.
Kinda funny how she left an idol company and now she has one of the best live 2D out there, if not the best. Really wish her all the best
Live2D quality scales directly to how long a rigger spends on it. This has been in production for, what, like half a year? That kinda timescales can only be afforded by (rich) indies.
