I know the artist. She is pro-russian. This fanart is a statement against Ukraine.
I don't see anything speaking about the war or sides on this image, or any other image from abbystea. I wouldn't count soviet-era sentiments as being "pro-Russian". Take a look at post #5171310. Please do not delve into "I suspect this person has wrong ideas, it is a political statement for them to create anything". Personally, I think this image speaks of defense, not attack, as it literally says so.

We call that an intention trial over there, when you assume people think something, therefore you observe their actions with more diligence than usual and assume they have some nefarious purpose.
She is a vocalRussian nationalist who has been drawing a series of Russian military AU images all month despite having minimal military interest for over a decade. I'm sure there's a reason for this, but I just can't put my finger on it...

Still doesn't make whatever made a pro-Russian piece or propaganda or whatever you might call it. Besides, I doubt we have every bit of the problem to conclude who is wrong and who is right, so buclking down a bit shouldn't hurt.

Because you don't see. Or rather, you don't know. She openly supports russia and its war. You can watch it on Twitter.

This is russian propaganda moment. It's difficult to explain this to normal people. "Defense" is one of the slogans of russian propaganda. In short, the russians protect the Ukrainians. Yes, they are bombing civilians, destroying infrastructure, demolishing cities, threatening nuclear weapons and thus... protecting Ukrainians. It's hard to understand if you're not in contact with Russian news, politicians and people. But commentators on Twitter understand the meaning of this phrase, and this outraged them.

I speak Russian myself, though I'm from Ukraine. I was subscribed to her in Vkontakte (Russian social media). She LITERALLY said it herself, that this art is a anti-Ukrainian testament. UNDER THE SAME POST.

Sounds like Russians and pedophiles have similar traits : they all use extremely vague codewords, and then spam them everywhere until everyone understand the meaning and rightfully tell them to fuck off, at this point they start claiming these are just words. Pedos have that "cute&funny" shit, and it seem Russians have "Defend".

Russians got a lot they are going around talking about, if that's what we want to talk about.
Thing is, as an outsider, I say we should just watch. It's not like we can make that much a different in our country's dealing with the problem, or dare ourselves to go to Ukraine to join either side either. I got an Ukrainian friend fighting, and all I can do is telling him not to post too often on Facebook and such to avoid being known where he was and get a missile coming down on him, and that's about it, if I were to say what else can be done. So, all we can do is watch.
And as we watch, movies or what so ever, it is manner to watch in silence and leave all the thoughts and flame or blame until it's over. Thus, tone it down, whoever you are and whichever side you support. Even if you are angry, raging over a piece of 0s and 1s doesn't make much a difference for your cause. And if any, it'd be making people annoyed with whatever you are saying. the downvotes on the comments accusing the artist to be pro-Russian show it quite well.
There are time and place for those thing. And if you can't tell, Danbooru isn't the place.
In conclusion, let's just stop this meaningless talk here. It's just a waste of time.
BTW: if you hate on neutral perspectives too, you just prove my points further.
Actual Russians won't waste their ass posting propaganda on anyone that isn't Russian you know. Also I remember their IPs are being barred anyway so the chances are limited or something.
Besides the anti-russian hate was like a norm in the past.

Not the past, it's happening right this moment. And talking to those who do it as well as those who loathe said attitude just doesn't work.
Some people are just stubborn. Whatever doesn't suit them will be called going against them. It's not something I'm proud of, but, I have been called a Hitler apologist, a Stalin apologist, yet also called lap dog of the Americans, collaborator of the Chinese communists and many other names. All of that while trying to say things you are also talking about.
