NNN at this point is supposed to be an "excuse" for addicts to stop looking at porn, not a flex.
Of course, if coomers interpret the meme as spending an entire month edging then it's going to be just as bad if not worse for them, but the whole point is not to stop ejaculating altogether. It's an excuse to try and cut back on excessive consumption of porn, which is an actual epidemic and a cause of mental (and a host of physical) issues. It's not too rare to read of people who fried their brain so much by looking at porn that they can't even get it hard IRL.

Also, the irony of comments like comment #2362896 or comment #2362901 getting downvoted to hell and back on a site like this is not lost on me. It's like going on a forum for alcoholics and getting downvoted for saying that maybe you shouldn't drink every single day of the year.

If we're talking about actual addicts, sure, but I don't think most people celebrating it on twitter are actual addicts. At least not to porn (they're just addicted to feeling superior to others).
