Geez, who made that Wiki entry? Petite Miku was just originally a custom model for Miku Miku Dance. It doesn't have an actual story behind it, other than making Miku look cute. Minami just decided to run with it and use it as a costume for Chibi-Miku in this comic.

Well, Rin didn't really DO much this time. She pretty much just smirked, was put into a headlock, and was the one who gave Kaito his ice cream. All-in-all, she was pretty passive and in the background this time.
I agree with NWSiaCB she's the first character you see in the entire comic, she's pretty much a main character, so I also expected to see her some more. But honestly, I like these more heartwarming moments with Haku, Chibi Miku, and Ruko. Oh, and I wish Hatsune didn't get wasted.
