Implicating a common term for the same item to make tagging easier... and also a personal thing. I frequently forget that 'the lotion used to protect your skin from the sun' is known as sunscreen in the US and therefore on this site too. Because of that i usually end up trying all sorts of 'sun' and 'lotion' combinations until i remember this term.

I'd prefer that sunscreen and all its alternate names simply get aliased to lotion, because it's basically indistinguishable from other lotions except that it's used wherever beach scenes and swimwear are involved. See forum #79763.

Seems like, in a lot of cases, the images containing sun block lotion are already only tagged with lotion Also, yes, most lotions are generic and indistinguishable from eachother in anime drawings so, we might as well pull the trigger.
I don't think i've heard of suntan lotion before. I mean, is it a lotion that makes you tan?
Also yes, supposed to be an alias i guess. i even checked both definitions on the site and still got it wrong.
There's also tanning_oil which seems unnecessary. Going by English Wikipedia, the term ambiguously refers to either indoor tanning lotion or sunscreen, but all posts here appear to be sunscreen.
