Tag implication: rebuild_of_evangelion -> neon_genesis_evangelion

Just saw the rebuild tag a while ago, and I think that searching for neon_genesis_evangelion should also return the rebuild results.

Some more implications that could be added:

evangelion:_1.0_you_are_(not)_alone -> rebuild_of_evangelion
evangelion:_2.0_you_can_(not)_advance -> rebuild_of_evangelion
mari_(evangelion) -> rebuild_of_evangelion

I would say aliases for the individual films to rebuild, I can't see a whole lot of art specific to a single film coming nor a reason to separate the films from one another no matter how popular this is.

Also, we don't do implications for characters so the last one's out.

Yeah, I'm thinking I'll just do the first one for now, rebuild>eva.

I was wondering, since we have a rebuild_of_evangelion tag implication, can we please have one for the new Asuka in these movies? Her name was changed to shikinami_asuka_langley can we have that implicated with soryu_asuka_langley?

Is there a visual difference which would necessitate using the new tag at all? I haven't been following the movies.

I haven't noticed any, but there's at least one image with the new name printed on it, if that means anything.

Done. But implicated to souryuu_asuka_langley. Surprised the long vowels were missed for so long. Fixed the old aliases too.

(Note that there are a lot of alias/implication/etc job tasks pending, this might not go through for a while.)

Probably because not only it is yet another name spelling change to something that no English speaker on the planet will ever actually use, it's one in a case where you've moving away from what the official spelling of her name has been for the last TEN YEARS.
