as and example of what I want
imply topless -> [1girl,2girls,3girls,4girls,5girls,6+girls,multiple_girls]
To help deal with confusion about the topless tag being exclusively for females (and I assume futa's too)
if this feature was added we could do a bulk update request as such
imply topless -> [1girl,2girls,3girls,4girls,5girls,6+girls,multiple_girls]
imply topless_male -> [1boy,2boys,3boys,4boys,5boys,6+boys,multiple_boys]
This wouldn't work, you can't have a tag implying 1girl and multiple girls at the same time.
I think what he's trying to suggest is a feature so that if a post is tagged topless it also needs to be tagged with one of the girl count tags otherwise the tag won't be added, same with topless male and the boy count tags.

The thing with implications is that if A → B, adding the tag A will automatically add the tag B. In your example, if some adds the tag topless, which one of the other tags should be added automatically?
A small error message like failed BURs could be added, or a notification similar to the "You have created a new tag" one could work.
It would put more strain on the uploader, but i don't think it's a bad idea.

That sounds like a huge can of worms that would lead to a flood of new soft-implication requests. I can imagine people demanding implications like black_legwear -> pantyhose/leggings/thighhighs/kneehighs/socks, and I really don't think we want to deal with the ensuing mess.

That wouldn't pass, because umbrella tags encompass more than the currently existing tags.
However, it makes sense for topless to imply one of those tags, because it's highly unlikely that character count tags will ever change.
