These tags are all types of masturbation and are usually tagged masturbation by users. I couldn't find/can't think of any examples of posts with any of these tags where masturbation wouldn't apply.
I left teddy_bear_sex off because it's sometimes used for actual sex with animated/living teddy bears. I left off tree_sex and food_sex because they're too small.
For table sex, should we make crotch rub imply masturbation instead since it implies that tag already? Or is there something preventing us from doing that?
I'd rather have this BUR go through and just remove the table_sex -> masturbation implication if/when crotch_rub is fixed than wait for someone to fix crotch_rub and leave many table_sex posts w/o the masturbation tag until then.

(is not specified in the wiki) Because with the new changes the tag would imply masturbation, so the character in question should not be forced. Same thing can be said for cases with tentacles or where the person is physically forced by another to perform a "crotch rub". The wiki says that "[crotch_rub] does not apply to situations in which the crotch rubbing is unintentional or is being done by one character to another", so, according to that, the given examples shouldn't be tagged crotch_rub.
But one of the main reasons I'm not too eager to fix crotch_rub myself is that there are posts like post #4596088, post #638605, and post #4854512 that are excluded from being tagged "crotch_rub" by the wiki, but that also can't be described with existing tags. Maybe we will have to break the tag into rubbing_own_crotch and rubbing_another's_crotch or something. But if we decide to go that route, we should probably do so in a new topic.
These doubtful cases, as you say, puzzles me. However, I have already individually checked every post on all 99 pages of crotch_rub identifying about 7 pages of posts that following the crotch_rub wiki guidelines should be cleaned up (many more with the doubtful cases). By guidelines I mean specifically: -Must be a type of masturbation (implication of the wiki and this thread). -The crotch_rub must not be performed by person A on person B (because crotch_grab / fingering / etc.) -Not rubbing against another person allowed (wiki guideline) -Currently, I have also excluded tentacles (both because they are living things and because they generally do NOT represent masturbation, as mentioned above) -Excluded BDSM scenes (not masturbation, because is forced) So I can clean up the tag very quickly, if you want I can also post all the posts or just the doubtful ones and you can see, but it would be handy to have other opinions on this. An alternative solution is to create a new forced_crotch_rub tag with the following definition: -It is not masturbation (the subject does not perform it willingly). -The character undergoing crotch_rub is forced (psychologically/physically). -If it is other people performing it on a character, they must not directly touch the "victim's" crotch. In this tag we could put: bdsm, tentacles/like, the rubber and cotton swab example, or cases where one character forces another to grovel and perform a crotch_rub. This new tag would be exempt from the implication of masturbation and we could perform the previously mentioned cleanup of crotch_rub as mentioned in this thread.
