What is "cute_&_girly(idolmaster)" tag?

Posted under General

I was uploading idolm@ster image, and noticed a cute_&_girly(idolmaster) tag. I can't find any connection between the images (IE: doesn't look like a set, or from the same artist), except for the fact that they're all idolm@ster related images. There is also no wiki article for it, so I don't know what this tag is about. Can someone please explain what this tag is, or should I go and remove it?

Edit: Dugg further, also found cool_&_sexy(idolmaster) and cosmic_&_funny(idolmaster) which seem to be similar tags... I'm lost_&_confused(user) right about now >_>

It's a costume set, a couple minutes looking through the tag probably could have told you this, as it is virtually one costume with a couple color variations throughout the entire search.

Now if only I could find them all... There's another reason why these would be good... ease of finding out what ones we have! *vocaloid* bringing them all up seems like it would be pretty handy.

I got the following list pretty quickly by going into a vocaloid image and doing a "related copyrights" on the vocaloid tag:
koi_wa_sensou_(vocaloid)
double_lariat_(vocaloid)
aku_no_musume_(vocaloid)
world_is_mine_(vocaloid)
toeto_(vocaloid)
saihate_(vocaloid)
romeo_and_cinderella_(vocaloid)
meltdown_(vocaloid)
melt_(vocaloid)

I aliased them all to *_(vocaloid). None of them are likely to cause a conflict except, perhaps, meltdown. However by the time it becomes a real conflict, it'll be old enough that we'll be able to just remove the alias without any trouble, I think.

kokoro and magnet were already qualified.

I'll probably go back and think of other ones later, but for now feel free to post whatever ones you come across.

Doesn't just have to be for Vocaloid or Imas either, I'm sure there's a similar practice going on with a few other series.

Guess I have to go port over their wiki entries now too. And I thought the alias system was supposed to maintain the tagtype... although we never resolved the discussion over whether they should even be copy:'d anyway.

Edit: Added:
when_the_first_love_ends_(vocaloid)

Urgh, we really need some automatic wiki migration option on aliases. Doing these all manually is going to suck.

Edit: and all the links in other pages... yeah making changes to something that's ingrained in a network of wiki pages referencing each other is a terrible idea.

Edit2: Alright, aliased the non-ambiguous ones (basically, poppippo and the ones that were more than one word). Moving the wikis now. Then going to sleep because I've been up for 25 hours.

^_^;; sorry to bug yea again; but "Byakkoya no musume" isn't Vocaloid created/copyrighted. It is from the Anime movie "Paprika".

So would that still have the vocaloid tag, due to it being a cover song?

Or would it be "Byakkoya_no_musume_(Paprika)"?.
And also minus "Black Rock Shooter", since that is the name of a character, and a song; which isn't Vocaloid specific.

Hmm, interesting question. It depends how we're thinking of the tag. Did the tag exist before the Vocaloid version? If not, one can think of the tag as being "that tag for images that reference the Vocaloid PV of this song (by theme or most often costume)" in which case the qualifier makes sense. But then you have to ask, "Were the costumes influenced by the movie?" and if so... yeah. I guess it's not very clear cut. I'll undo the alias for now though.

I don't think I'd done that one... maybe I accidentally switched it over in a couple of the wiki pages though, last night was something fo a blur.

P.S. See Also links in wikis are my new mortal enemy when making changes like this.

The imagery is from paprika, just with vocaloids injected. All the current images are in reference to the PV but I wouldn't be surprised to see someone draw something using movie characters and similar scenery. (tldr: it's more paprika than vocaloid.)

I would just do the ones on the character pages and let someone else sort out the rest.
