nonamethanks told me that MD5 mismatches that are pixel-identical to the source image but just have the wrong MD5 due to a mistake on the uploader's end should be replaced.
First one I checked was not pixel-identical, @Etou.
I was told in forum #273894 that cropped images by a third-party generally can't be replaced. I'm unsure if images where the simple background was cropped, like this one, are part of the exception.
I saw the disapproval message in post #7543825 now, could it have been replaced? I thought it'd be considered visually different. Looks like I could've requested the replacement of some watermarked posts as well. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks in advance, I'll try to avoid making the same mistakes depending on the response.
@Samsara_Kama - Are you sure about your methods? I know resamplers can inflate file sizes some times, but same resolution + half the file size gives me pause.

No for both, at least for me.
Yes, I used the bookmarklet, you can confirm this by using it and you can compare the images to see the artifacts. I'm not aware of Lofter users being able to replace images afterwards like Pixiv, but given the uploader's activity I suspect the images were sent to them or downloaded somehow and uploaded from their device. EDIT: Wording.
I wonder what happened to this picture? The hair of the girl is different. Are those conversion, compression, encoding artifacts? (If we assume that the second picture is an original, and it became the posted picture somehow)
