Tag Issue: Young vs. Age_regression

Posted under General

The Age_Regression tag aliases to Young, which is just fine for art that's simply depicting characters younger than they're usually shown... but it doesn't work so much with sequences apparently showing a character de-aging, which thus either have to be tagged with age_progression, which is the exact opposite of what they actually depict, or Young, which is an imprecise description of what they're actually depicting and buries them in a rather heavily-populated tag.

There aren't enough pure age-regression transformation pictures to justify removing the alias, but does anyone have an idea for a tag we could use for those pictures to distinguish them?

Here's the two examples I've found so far:

Both seem to have a structure and labeling scheme that indicates a regression of age, rather than a comparison or a progression. There are a few others under the Age_Progression tag that I wonder about, but these two are pretty clear-cut, given that both have numbered labels progressing from older to younger, and one even features a graph indicating a decrease in age over time.

While not a very good example, I would probably call post #278601 an example of age_regression. This particular image depicts Final Fantasy IV Advance's bonus dungeon, where Rydia reverts back to a small child and loses her summons. Even if you don't really know the scene, you can still see it from the over-sized clothing and to a lesser extent the text.
