Tag implication: pixiv_fantasia

Don't we also use tags that are included with the picture on pixiv?

post #833563, for example, is tagged as black ops on pixiv and while you could say that the FAMAS looks similar, its not readily apparent.

I also thought we had a precedent for including tags from pixiv if they are relevant.

Not automatically. A lot of pixiv tags are total gibberish. The importance of pixiv tagging is related more to settling disputed over who a character is or that sort of thing.

Also, I didn't know we had five different pixiv fantasia tags. Is there any distinct difference among them, or is it just based on when they were posted?

I could go either way on tagging pixiv_fantasia but I'm leaning pretty hard towards saying we don't need five unless they had well-defined themes.

Pixiv_fantasia is a big event with consensus theme (fantasy) much like oekaki_musume, so I think it's legit to tag and treat them as a copyright.

The point is it has no theme. Or rather the theme is so vague and generic that its informational content is nil. We could just as well start tagging girl or anime.

I have nuked quite a few smaller pixiv stuffs yesterday (like pixiv_beer, 2 posts).

Why? Small tags are very specific and thus good for searches, why nuke them?

Nah, if you look through the tag it does come to mind that the designs are made for a fantasy world. Someone who is into that will find the tag useful.

The tags I nuke have posts without anything in itself that refers to the event, nor do they have a wiki. I change them into original, which is good enough.

Fantasy, what an original concept! And posts with girls would just as truthfully be tagged girl, not to mention quite a few people are into girls.

Yup. Could we just stop pretending it means anything and implicate it to fantasy? Unless we really, really want to keep the tag for ones that specifically reference pixiv fantasia as a project somewhere in the picture, but then the rest should still be edited to fantasy.

I don't really care that many of them don't directly reference the project or are generic fantasy. I'd rather not lose information on which pictures were created by artists for the project... or any Pixiv project or other copyright, for that matter. Does potentially losing that data not matter at all?

They're not impossible I don't care enough to read five hundred lines on 5 wikis in a language I don't speak to try and discern which pixiv fantasia they came from.
