Tag for artists "accidental uploads"?

Posted under General

This is something I've seen a few times, where the artist uploads a full-size or uncensored version of an image, just to take it down shortly after and replace it with either a downsized, cropped or censored version.
post #1301290 being a recent example, where the image was posted and taken down a minute or so later and replaced with a cropped ver.

Considering this kind of content is content that most likely won't ever be posted by the artist again (with the exception of images that were intended for books etc.), would it be worth maybe having a tag for it?

It's true we don't have any way to tell why it was removed, but it doesn't change the fact that the original, most complete ver. of the image can no longer be accessed without actually contacting the artist.

The same goes for uncensored versions of images which are often quickly taken down and replaced with a censored ver. (Example : post #1276773)
It's very unlikely the uncensored ver. will ever actually be posted again.

There is also the occasion where artists post an unresized version of an image (bad_id absurdres can point out a lot of these).
I've seen an insane amount of these while going through the revision list..

Danbooru essentially acts as a backup for these images. If we have an image which has since been removed and replaced with one of the above, it would a bit handy to actually be able to be able to search for them.

So essentially a tag for "Images that have since been removed and replaced with a cropped, resized or censored ver. of the original".

Too meta. Tags like cropped are good enough.

Don't understand how cropped would actually help find these kind images...

Why would you want to, though? You might as well search for cropped etc... for posts with parents. For those with full size parents, some will be because the artist replaced it with the lesser version and some will be from some third party cropping it (etc...) for whatever reason. Why should we bother trying to make a distinction?

Just seemed like it could be useful. If we have any images that have since been removed and replaced with a less-complete ver, it would be nice to be able to actually search for them.
Cropped, resized & censored do not make it easy to find these considering there is no need to post them if the original, most complete ver. exists.

^That doesn't seem to answer "why" at all, you know.

I've already answered why.
Danbooru essentially acts as a image backup. On occasion an artist will either accidently upload an image at full-size by mistake, or forget to censor it. If an uploader is watching pixiv (or similar) when it's posted, it can be grabbed before it gets removed. The artist then replaces it with a "less complete" ver. This essentially makes the image posted here, the only place to find the "most complete" ver. of the image. It is essentially something that only the artist should have, yet if we have a backup of the image. Being able to actually look for said images seems like it would be useful.

If not, not exactly a problem. Just seemed like something that would be useful to have..

But what difference for anyone else than yourself would an indication of an "inferior quality of same picture present on pixiv instead of this" make? And why would you or anyone want to search for only those things?
I question that handiness of such tag as did RaisingK earlier. And that's the "why" that was and still is unanswered.
