How do I tag this?

Just to make sure I'm not going backseat mod here: The tag presenting_shoulder was recently created. Is it OK to nuke it? It seems very EotB and we already have bare_shoulders and off_shoulder. It's also a potential can of worms, with presenting_feet, presenting_tail, presenting_forehead, etc. following in quick succession.

Seems indistinguishable from off_shoulder to me. Except for post #5205087, which is strap_pull.

People are way too eager to use presenting_* where a body part is merely exposed, whether there's anything suggestive about it or not. Like all the presenting_armpit posts that are nothing more than a girl with her arms raised.

The result of tagging with fetish goggles on, if you ask me. That's one of my personal allergies, which is why I was a little worried about being too quick to crack down on it. I'll re-tag presenting_shoulder like you suggested.

I had a look at the other presenting_* tags. Both presenting_foot and presenting_pussy seem quite redundant to me, in most cases being covered by foot_focus and presenting pussy or spread_pussy, respectively. Neither tag has a wiki or any real discussion here. I'd happily nuke these, too.

I was gonna say that that tag is our "armpit focus" equivalent, but I just noticed we have armpit focus already. I opened topic #20863.

Since you brought it up, diamond_hairband is an awful tag, and I wish whoever came up with it had solicited feedback in this thread rather than create a tag all on their own. It's a rare example of a two-word tag in which both words have the potential to cause problems with mistagging:

  • "Diamond", in the case of jewelry and accessories, may be construed to mean the gemstone rather than the playing card symbol. See watson_amelia diamond_earrings.
  • Few, if any, of the posts with this tag are for hairbands. All the ones I've seen are tiaras and circlets.
