canopy

It's something about Macross, but it probably needs to be renamed too.

Think it refers to the "canopy" covering the cockpit section of aircraft. Macross variable fighters often have prominent ones. Wrote the wiki accordingly.

Prolly needs a rename to canopy_(aircraft) or something.

I'm noticing that yoshi_(moco1) doesn't have a wiki page here on Danbooru. How can I get a wiki page for an artist started? Should there be prerequisites like artist quirks or something? Because they seem to have a habit of deleting some of their art on Twitter for some reason.

Most artists don't have wiki pages because they're usually unnecessary. The only things you would want in them are things that would be of direct interest to uploaders/taggers, and not things like where they're from or whatever.

To create an artist wiki you have to create a new wiki page with the same name as the artist's tag. I'd say warning people that an artist frequently deletes their posts is appropriate information for our wikis.

I usually mention Chinese and Korean artists in their wikis in hope that it would help guide people to use the corresponding Chinese text and Korean text tags (making it easier for translators to find them), though admittedly I'm not sure whether it works.

Some artists also post different language versions on Pixiv, so I hope the above might help provide information to uploaders about which language version to choose when uploading. Or at least which one should be the primary and which should be tagged alternate_language.

It's also pretty helpful in the cases of artists who have separate accounts for different copyrights to denote which account to go to for more of a certain kind of content.

Mentioning personal information like real names, locations, nationality, or gender should be done with care, as I occasionally get takedown requests because of this. We've also had a case where an artist became a VTuber and 4chan started citing our wiki as a source of dox.
