Are you really gonna tell me it's off topic? Considering that's what PM 2019 goes by outside of Japan as "Pokemon Journeys" this is a "Changing all Pokemon tags to English localisations" and PM 2019's localized name is "Pokemon journeys so it falls in line with this thread, so it's not off topic come on now :/ be consistent.

I have to agree. Considering this very thread had copyright name implications, it makes sense why one specific copyright would be offtopic.

Sure, when someone makes a BUR for it. I don't know much about the series, so i can't really help.

As an admin on Digimon Wiki, I have to say no to that. Digimon's localized names aren't completely consistent, and there are cases when a Digimon's English name is the same as another's Japanese name (Anomalocarimon and Scorpiomon), or when two completely separate Digimon have the same English name at one point (Chackmon and Bearmon). And to top it off, Xuanwumon and Zhuqiaomon constantly have their names swapped somewhere.

Even Bandai seems to be leaning to "unlocalize" some Digimon. Omegamon has kept its Japanese name in some recent games, and Digimon Crusader (Heroes! in the US) literally uses Japanese names for every Digimon, including the very famous ones who use localized names everywhere else like Piyomon.

Digimon's case simply can't be compared to Pokémon because its localization is a mess, which is a reason why many fans prefer to stick to Japanese names, and there's even an entire Wiki that uses exclusively Japanese names. Do you see any English-language Pokémon Wiki that uses only Japanese names?
