Those features aren't supposed to be locked behind builder though, since gold is supposed to be an option.

Well the owner doesn’t owe you anything. My suggestion would be to use tbib.org or Gelbooru to preform your complicated searches, they scrape Danbooru and have no tag limitations.

Doesn't Gelbooru have a three tag limit? It's been ages since i've last visited, but that was the case last I checked.

Been ages since i visited as well, regardless alternative booru sites exist if you're looking for a very specific image and need to use a bunch of tags.

No it does not you could use more then six tags.

Yeah but sadly the tagging in gelbooru is not really good tho so that's the downside

Since this situation has been going on more than a year, is there any way maintainers of the site could increase tag limit for unpaid accounts to 3 or 4 at least temporarily until the payment processing issue is resolved?

Just contribute to the site and you get unlimited tags and much more for free. Here is a guide on how to: Danbooru Contributor video guide (not a rickroll, I swear)

Feel like this has been talked on this topic a lot at this point but around 500-1000 uploads with very little deletion rate would be a good start.

uploads are just one way to get builder btw, it will just be the fastest, assuming deletion rate is low enough

I think censored tags could at least be made into a toggle in profile settings. The current state of things is that we expect new users to grind to builder status in order to see certain Blue Archive posts that can be openly shown on reddit, it's a little absurd.
