Man, the more things change, the more things stay the same, huh? :P

If someone stops buying a writer’s books because they don’t like the subject matter, will that change with any amount of time? No.

It's getting worst in a few years all NSFW will be out of a payment processor.

I think censored tags could at least be made into a toggle in profile settings. The current state of things is that we expect new users to grind to builder status in order to see certain Blue Archive posts that can be openly shown on reddit, it's a little absurd.

this please

Addressing this since it was brought up again.

There wouldn't be any point in having censored tags if they could be easily accessed by anyone with an account. I don't know which posts Hereinafter was referring to at the time, but I did notice an overapplication of these tags on Blue Archive posts. The characters have to be both young-looking enough and be presented in a suggestive manner at minimum (crotch/ass focus, highly revealing swimsuits/underwear, etc.), and sometimes only one of those criteria is met. This is a problem because only Gold members and above can remove the tag and may be hesitant to do so because they understandably don't want to risk making a false negative. I think the solution is to garden these tags a bit better instead of giving everyone the option to access them. Otherwise, we might as well remove the implementation of censored tags completely.

I do think giving Gold status to members who contribute enough (to a lesser degree than builder) would be reasonable, however.

Edit: A month later, I learned one possible reason loli is overapplied by some in Blue Archive is because it is underapplied by everyone else (topic #25168). Be careful when adding the tag, but not too careful.
