AI-generated art check thread

Flagged AI, but I don't see anything obvious.

The joints on the hands do seem a little melty. The silver parts on the hands are all irregularly shaped and drawn at different points relative to the joints. Not that a human can’t draw irregularly, but it seems like AI to me. It’s too bad their Pixiv is gone though, their other art could have provided more context.

These are AI, right? Despite the missing tags/flag on Pixiv.
A couple of weeks ago, the creator suddenly started posting a higher volume of illustrations on their X account, which were of seemingly much higher quality compared to their past work. When this happened, a few prominent Japanese Nanoha community members started airing their grievances about a certain, unmentioned account posting AI illustrations. Soon after, the creator of the above posted illustrations deleted their X account.

I agree, the recent 3 uploads have AI slop signs.

They also are entirely divergent from the artist's primary style seen in the oldest 2 uploads.

Images look a lot like iwano kenta or loliconder. Daily posts on Twitter that all are very basic 1024x1024 resolution images and similar to each other. Major style shift occurred and all images posted as JPEG (simplest way to scrub metadata) on their Pixiv when they returned to posting from October 2023 to July 2025.

Edit: Looking into their Fanbox posts, which contains alts, I'm extremely confident to say these are AI. They are prompted inpaint edits and not at all hand drawn. Everything is also upscaled very poorly with little quality control if any.

Only post #10448701 and post #10444135 would be their hand drawn art.

I agree regarding their newest posts. Some smartass flagged those hand-drawn posts you pointed out though, even though they predate even NovelAI's image generation (@wrweider64 , please be careful when adding tags such as ai-generated).

Wait, only the first work attached to mannmaruu is theirs (and this artist is legit, posting Naruto drawings and manga since 2013 at least). All the other stuff is someone else supposedly by that name.

This is the result of two artists being merged that shared the name, but I am positive they are unrelated. Hoping to get them split here. forum #414739

I wasn't adding ai-generated tags btw

although I remembered a few, but they were extremely looked like and artist was flagged as ai prompter, but in most cases I'm not even one who's tagging that

C'mon, you added it to both posts:

And even if an artist posts AI now, they may still have non-AI posts on the site (as is the case here)

Why are we all just ignoring that random clump of disconnected hair in post #10237188?

This isn't perspective. It literally connects to nothing.

It could be hair from the other side. It is long enough...

I also ran AI checkers on several of my uploads. But they all give different results for every image I've shown them. They're all "very sure", but they say different things. ;-)

They are still untagged. Could you or someone else tag them appropriately?

post #10668850 is also flagged without a tag. Can anyone tag or refute? Thx bip.

just want to point out these flagged reiwa_no_sherlock posts, despite being PNG files, have a strange type of noise throughout which almost looks like jpeg_artifacts but not quite; also the background is full of noise, not solid white.

it's possible this was caused by bad post-processing/scaling,
but i think it's more likely to be caused by a badly-trained AI model.
i've spent a lot of time staring at compression artefacts over the years and i don't think i've ever seen anything quite like this in legitimate artwork.

No, it's not long enough and the shape doesn't line up at all.

That all being said it does look like this artist sells on Yahoo! Japan so it might be assisted at the most? I think some people have said in this thread that people do sell AI work on Yahoo, though, so IDK.

Worth noting that post #10453519 actually was flagged as AI.
