Transgender Bridget posts being tagged 1boy now

My understanding was that images like post #5584067 and post #5677338 should be tagged as girls, not boys. @SSJG (with at least one instance of @nonamethanks) can you explain why you changed them all back to 1boy? Evazion said posts like those should be tagged 1girl, and that's what we've been doing. Did something change?

EDIT: Okay, after taking some more time to look into it, NNT was tagging those posts 1girl, then suddenly started doing the opposite. That definitely looks like something changed, but there's no apparent evidence of it anywhere on-site.

For my case, I was reverting a user's changes but noticed halfway that some were valid and reverted my edits. That one must've slipped through the cracks.

There were actually mutliple that slipped through the cracks. post #5737779 and its child are another example. She's wearing a transgender flag pin.

So that just leaves the usual suspect, then. He wasnt involved in the Bridget discussion, I think, so maybe he just didn't know, helped by an Admin making a few mistakes.

I personally don't want Bridget to be tagged 1girl without also being tagged as genderswap_(ftm). It makes the most sense to me. I did read the Bridget thread last year but don't really remember about tagging him as a girl in posts with transgender elements. There were only a handful of posts that were changed from 1boy to 1girl by one user during the last month, so I figured I might as well revert them for the sake of consistency.

I only remember Evazion's BUR about Bridget getting tagged as 1girl in rating:g posts being refused by the majority in that Bridget thread, so the character would be tagged as 1girl only in genderswap posts. Could someone show Evazion's statement about Bridget being tagged as 1girl in posts with transgender flag?

The artist didn't say it was a girl, they corrected someone else's usage of the wrong pronouns. Of course people on twitter are going to do that for a character that identifies as a girl. They do it even when the depiction is unmistakably male.

Lemme ask you a question: do you truly believe someone searching for a girl and a boy engaging in heterosexual fellatio wants to see a character like Bridget? Or are you just trying to sabotage the site?

Many people looking for hetero don't want to see a guy and a trans girl, but many people looking for yaoi definitely don't want to see a post without two men in it. It was already suggested (with bipartisan support) during the first Bridget thread to create some type of general trans character tag to permit this sort of filtering, but the last thread on this issue (topic #22845) was locked.

Such a tag would still not qualify posts like these for hetero, much like how we don't tag futanari or cuntboy as hetero. This is gay porn, no amount of mental gymnastics will ever change that.

And we don't tag futanari and cuntboy as yaoi. Realistically, we'd have to find some kind of "intermediate" solution like we have for those tags, which is where we got stuck last time (since all of the discussions about that would be buried by incoming Twitter drama).

But there's no difference between this post and a post of, for example, Astolfo or any other "draw a girl call it a boy"-type otoko no ko character sucking a dick. Why should one get the tag and the other not? Someone searching for it would want to see both and someone who doesn't want to see one wouldn't want to see the other either.

The transgender discussion is barely tangential here, as there's no real indication that this is post-op Bridget save for pronouns that are given to pretty much any instance of the character no matter if the dick's out or not. Let's be real here, this is the same artist that made post #5879649.
