So, can I go back and take off ore_no_imouto_ga_konna_ni_kawaii_wake_ga_nai off can't_be_this_cute posts where appropriate?

The discussion on that seems far from settled, and no one else in this thread has argued in favor of removing them.

It's always possible for the "can't be this cute" parodies to have in-jokes to the series itself (whether it's seiyuu jokes as I mentioned above or anything else), so I think they should all be tagged with the series tag regardless so those searching the series won't miss them or have to search a different tag every time. I don't want inappropriate removals like on post #786906 happening at all. I still wish there was a way to track the tag history of individual tags.

Except for the fact that we have pretty unoriginal/similar names for these two image compositions, I don't see how these are any less individually taggable concepts than any of the other pose tags we have out there.

I don't really accept the comparison to general body posture tags, but it's really not important enough to argue over for so few posts.

Keep the _2, _3, _874 tags then, but I don't think we should implicate.

Please go back and read forum #13791 and forum #26109.

Okay, I'll budge on seiyuu jokes, though the relevance of the copyright tag doesn't have much to do with the meme tag itself. The seiyuu tag is the most important complementary tag to seiyuu_joke, followed closely by character tags. Copyright tags come with the character tags as a formality, not the meme tag.

Other than that, putting the meme origin tag on every single instance of the meme? No.
